Despite being 13% of the population, less than 2% of black and/or latino Americans are included in clinical trials. We were asked to bring awareness to this issue in a way that would warn patients that the medicines they are taking could be unsafe and provoke immediate action from the FDA. Although our idea was among the favorites we were asked to partner with another creative team to help give their idea more storytelling and visual credibility so that we could get it to Cannes. After the Creative team left to go to another agency their idea was shelved. This is the idea that should have won the pitch.
